Healthcare workers are naturally quite susceptible to infection when taking care of patients, so the 'Mobile PPS' has been designed as a dedicated space for them to work and rest to avoid pathogens from the sick. Designed by Plastique Fantastique, the Mobile Personal Protective Space (PPS) has an inflatable design that has positive air pressure to constantly push air out and never let potentially contaminated air in. The temporary space could be set up for doctors to stay confined as they work, between shifts to recoup or even as a mobile solution for testing patients.
The 'Mobile PPS' units can also be connected together to offer a safe passageway between staff quarters and patient areas to prevent contamination from spreading to workers.
