Mister Donut Zaku Mocchi Ring donuts were launched by the brand at participating locations in Japan in June and now the brand is expanding its savory baked goods range to provide patrons with new options.
The savory donut range now has two new flavors including Mentaiko Potato & Egg and Curry & Egg, which each offer a different level of flavor complexity for patrons to appreciate. The Mentaiko Potato & Egg has a spicy mentaiko (pollock roe) potato filling paired with a mild egg salad, while the Curry & Egg has mellow curry with the same mild egg salad. The donuts are topped with breadcrumbs and paprika powder for the Mentaiko Potato & Egg, and the Curry & Egg is topped with breadcrumbs and parsley.
The new Mister Donut Zaku Mocchi Ring donuts are arriving at locations in Japan starting December 6, 2023 for a limited time only.
