For its first-ever plant-based partnership, the popular salad concept sweetgreen has teamed up with Meati to create a new menu item called the Miso Meati Bowl.
Meati is a mushroom meat brand that offers consumers a plant-based alternative to meat. The new Miso Meati Bowl features Miso Marinated Meati, along with wild rice, roasted sweet potatoes, shredded cabbage, kale, toasted almonds, basil, and a miso sesame ginger dressing.
The idea behind the Miso Meati Bowl came from sweetgreen's customer survey research, which revealed the demand for more vegan-friendly options that are also high in protein and don't skimp on flavor. The Miso Meati Bowl ticks all those boxes thanks to Meati's nutrient-rich mushroom root protein.
The new Miso Meati Bowl is available now from sweetgreen's Culver City Food Lab.
