Mister Donut Just Uneviled a New Misdo Meets Gion Tsujiri Hojicha Lineup

Following the success of its most recent Misdo Meets confectionary collaboration series, Mister Donut has once again teamed up with Kyoto tea merchant Gion Tsujiri on another Misdo Meets Gion Tsujiri collection.

Unlike the previous collection, which featured several matcha treats, the new Misdo Meets Gion Tsujiri lineup revolves around hojicha, or roasted green tea. Unlike matcha, hojicha has more of a nutty, roasted flavor and boasts a deep brown hue. Mister Donut has created two tasty confections using the roasted tea ingredient, including the chewy Nama Pon de Ring Uji Hojicha and the kinako (roasted soybean powder) sugar-dusted Nama Pon de Ring Uji Hojicha Kinako.

The new hojicha collection is available now until late May, alongside the brand's matcha collection as well.
