To show its fans what goes into the making of the items inside of its $5 Fill Up Box, KFC created a video that depicts mini KFC foods being made.
Across YouTube, miniature cooking sessions that involve small-scale appliances and tinier-than-bite-sized treats are all the rage. As such, KFC saw an opportunity to create a fun, educational and highly shareable way to show how its Original Recipe fried chicken is prepared.
To support the video, KFC will be opening a supremely small space (43 inches by 32 inches by 27.5 inches) in Portland, Maine, for one day only, where customers can order a miniature meal of three chicken pieces, mashed potato, a chocolate chip cookie and Dr Pepper. Upon arriving at the restaurant, patrons can expect to be greeted by a pair of adult hands that will "happily take their order."
