Dairy Farmers of Ontario's 2020 Milk Calendar Boasts Canadian Eats

Dairy Farmers of Ontario recently unveiled its 2020 Milk Calendar at an immersive Dairy Tasting event. The event was hosted last month inside Toronto's historic Distillery District neighbourhood and featured curated meals by celebrity chef Vikram Vij and Afrim Pristine, Maitre fromager at Toronto's family-owned Cheese Boutique.

The two chefs join celebrity chef and author David Rocco, highlighting a selection of unique recipes that showcase the versatility of Ontario-sourced dairy products. "This year, Dairy Farmers of Ontario has partnered with notable Canadian chefs and culinary professionals to share their love of cooking with Ontario dairy and create the recipes featured in the 2020 Milk Calendar." The company also states that it aimed to create recipes "for Canadians by Canadians."

Four signature recipes featured inside this year's calendar include a 'Great Lakes Artisan Cheese Board,' developed by Afrim Pristine. 'Vikram’s Favourite Snack,' developed by Vikram Vij, 'Cauliflower Puttanesca Pasta with Canadian Asiago,' developed by David Rocco and an 'Orange Scented Cheesecake With Cranberry Clementine Sauce.'
