New York-based artist Mia Pearlman has created an amazing art installation made entirely out of paper.
The theme of her art is based on weather, which is portrayed with large intricate paper cut-outs. The process itself is amazing and spontaneous. Thick lines are drawn with India ink free-handed on a large roll of paper with no specific design in mind. Once completed, she uses an x-acto knife to cut out the white space in between each line, with each cut determining the next cut. The result is an incredible surreal representation of clouds and whirlwinds in a suspended, frozen motion that's guaranteed to make anyone gaze in amazement.
