Vaseline Launched Mended Murals Aim to Care for Skin of Color

Vaseline has launched Mended Murals, an initiative aiming to care for skin of color and enhance access to skin health resources in underrepresented communities. This project focuses on revitalizing murals that have faded over time due to neglect, symbolizing the overlooked skin health of people of color. Collaborating with local artists, Vaseline is not only restoring murals but also contributing funds to nearby health clinics.

The Mended Murals initiative reflects Vaseline's commitment to skin health equity, addressing systemic racism and health disparities that disproportionately affect outcomes for people of color. Adding to this effort, Vaseline is donating $250,000 to support accessible health care in the cities involved.

Vaseline is also partnering with Black Future House in Austin, TX, as part of the Mended Murals campaign, to celebrate the initiative and support future communities. With each mural revitalized, Vaseline will finance a local clinic, furthering community skin health support.
