This project was initiated by artist Ingvar Bjorn Thorsteinsson, who wanted to break the record for biggest collaboration of artists on one piece of art. The previous record is 201,948 artists, which this social media project should easily surpass by simply getting people to contribute by logging in their location via Facebook, and contributing a 'brush stroke.' The campaign will be going on for 66 days in celebration of the 66th anniversary of UNICEF. The first brush stroke was made by Icelandic President Olafur Ragnar Grimsson, and the project has snowballed from there.
It only takes three clicks and a Facebook account to be part of history and raise awareness for a great cause.
