Elastic Band Buildings

The Mason Lane Farm Secures Sustainability With Eco-Friendly Structure

What I first took for an elastic band exterior is Mason Lane Farm's beautiful bamboo construction. Using sustainable material for a sustaining facility is pretty poetic.

Designed by Louisville-based De Leon & Primmer Architecture Workshop, they envisioned this eco farm facility to be as a close to nature as it can possibly getâ€"an impressive feat considering the function of farms. The Mason Lane Farm will support 2,000 acres of agriculture, recreation, wildlife habitat and conservation land.
