Marcado 28 is Made with Agave, Yeast & Specially Sourced Water

Top Chef viewers know Michael Voltaggio as the winner of season six and the celebrity chef recently launched his own tequila brand, Marcado 28. After meeting maestro tequilero Bruno Barba during a trip to Jalisco, Mexico, Voltaggio was inspired to venture into tequila. The brand specializes in simple, high-quality tequila crafted with just agave, yeast and water sourced from the aquifers of Volcán de Tequila.

The new tequila brand is introducing itself to the world with an unaged Blanco with notes of sweet and spicy agave, floral and citrus notes, and American oak-rested Reposado with rich notes of honey, citrus, chili, chocolate and vanilla. Both products are packaged in bottles with intricate labels created by tattoo artists El Sando and Billy Bacca.
