Emerging media company DPOP Studios announced Man With AI Movie Camera as a first-of-its-kind release within the entertainment industry. This is the first feature-length film series to be generated on a single long-form prompt, and it pays homage to the 1929 film Man With a Movie Camera.
The single long-form prompt will generate 480 unique iterations of Dziga Vertov's original film and it will be revealed on SuperRare throughout 2024.
The Man With AI Movie Camera project is set to serve as "a model for how AI can function as an equitable public good for creative production," according to internationally acclaimed filmmaker Dan Sickles. What started out as a thought experiment from the filmmaker changed to incorporate GenAI as it became more advanced and more readily available.
