Lycored ResilientRed BF Has Great Stability in Milk and Alt Milks

The Lycored ResilientRed BF colorant has been introduced by the brand as a new nature-based solution at the IFT FIRST event taking place in Chicago this week.

The lycopene-based colorant is sourced from tomatoes and is formulated with the growing consumer demand for clean label products in mind. The colorant is suited for plant-based beverages, ultra-high-temperature (UHT) dairy products, meat alternatives and surimi seafood, and boasts a resilient profile that will perform well under a variety of conditions. The colorant is crafted without the use of palm oil or sugar esters and will thus meet the requirements for products stocked at retailers like Whole Foods Market.

Head of Global Marketing Caroline Schroeder spoke on the Lycored ResilientRed BF colorant saying, "Consumers everywhere are voicing a clear preference for naturally derived rather than artificial colours and are craving a return to more wholesome foods and beverages. We're excited for customers, scientists and food experts to meet their new best friend – ResilientRed BF – through interactive demonstrations on the IFT FIRST expo floor."
