Loews Hotels and Resorts has now made it incredibly easy for Twitter users to book a reservation at one of its hotels. Its new "social reservation" initiative began on November 19, which enables Twitter users to book a stay with a tweet to 'Loews_Hotels' with the hashtag "BookLoews."
Soon after sending a tweet with these two requirements, a Loews representative will contact the tweeter to ask for further details about their reservation.
16 out of Loews 19 luxury locations now use this service and it will definitely appeal to youthful travellers who now don't even have to leave Twitter to make a hotel reservation. This is an unconventional way for Loews Hotels to approach its hotel bookings, but it is confident that this new kind of social reservation will create loyalty and secure more booked rooms in the process.
