Disneyland now has an out of this world treat with its lightsaber churro.
Initially released at Disney's Hollywood Studios for May 4th (Star Wars Day), the lightsaber churro is now available throughout the month of May at the Churro Cart in Disneyland's Tomorrowland. The lightsaber churro is served warm, tossed in either red or blue sugar with edible glitter and stars. While the flavor of the lightsaber churro doesn't differ from Churro Cart's classic churro, flavored churros have made an appearance in Disney parks in the past. For the 50th anniversary of 'Pirate's of the Caribbean,' lemon-flavored 'Golden Churros' were available.
The lightsaber churro is a fun way to celebrate the 40th anniversary of 'Star Wars.' Throughout the month of May, Disney should have more exciting limited-edition products available to celebrate the franchise.
