Ben Kicic and Emoilio Halperin reimagine the Library Lamp, which takes the classic concept and elevates it to something that is suitable for the past and future. The Library Lamp, otherwise known as the Banker's Lamp served the only purpose of bringing light to material and papers on the desk with a soft and less-glaring sort of glow.
The redesign is informed with a more industrial theme and does so through the use of unpainted milled aluminum materials. It forms simple curves and lines that rest on a single stand which supports a trapezoidal lamp shade. The lampshade is held up by two slim arms that also simultaneously hide the internal wiring for a stealthy look.
