Tolerant Foods makes vibrant, organic single-ingredient legume pastas that are rich in sources of plant-based protein and fiber and free from grains. The colorful and healthy pasta alternatives are made with just one simple ingredient like chickpeas, red lentils or green lentils, meaning that they are free from major allergens, fillers, additives and binders. According to Niloo Mirani, Director of Marketing, "We've perfected the process of turning legumes into pasta, without using fillers or additives like some of our competitors." Despite being made with just one ingredient, the brand's pastas are said to have a texture that's incredibly similar to regular pasta—plus they come in classic shapes like penne, rotini and elbows.
The legume-based pastas are incredibly nutrient-dense, as a serving contains more than 20 grams of protein and accounts for 44% of daily fiber.
