Michelob ULTRA's Lap of Legends is an upcoming television special that challenges Formula 1 drivers to go up against virtual avatars of some of the greatest Williams Racing drivers of all time. This first-of-its-kind real vs. virtual race will challenge racers in a 16-lap race where they'll have to put their skills to the test against legendary Williams Racing racers brought back with artificial intelligence and augmented reality.
To create the virtual drivers that the real ones will be competing against, Michelob ULTRA and Williams Racing analyzed thousands of hours of racing footage and historical data to mimic unique racing styles, techniques and strategies.
The one-hour special is set to debut in the spring of 2024 on AMC, BBC America and The Roku Channel in the United States.
