Chela Brandon is the first Uruguayan craft beer to receive a Kosher beer certification for its current styles. From the department of San José, 44 km from the capital, this beer was born from the interest in recovering the traditional use of artisanal and natural products that from generation to generation families developed as a tribute to their immigrant heritage.
Mixed with the best imported and domestic raw materials, without the addition of preservatives or stabilizers, this microbrew now takes another important step. Kosher certification ensures that a product is made according to religious rules given to Jewish people. For a company to be accepted, it must meet several requirements, not only in the product itself, but also the whole process of brewing, operating under high standards of cleanliness and control of raw materials and the finished product. Furthermore, this seal provides an important endorsement and recognition by the certifying religious authority about technical ethics and business conduct of the company, which contributes to greater credibility when performing operations.
Chela Brandon is available in four styles: Blonde Ale, Inglés Pale Ale, Porter and Honey. It can now be found in the main restaurants in Uruguay.
