Keybase, a company that has long provided with people with the technology and the means to securely encrypt the messages they send to other people, is now introducing a highly secure file sharing service.
The system lets you create two families of folders within the Keybase system, one of which is a public folder that is open to access by all and another being a private folder accessible only by authorized persons.
This secure file sharing system could be used in a variety of interesting ways. For example, you could use it to share information on the Internet whilst knowing that it won't be scooped up by nefarious entities, or it could be used by whistleblowers to share sensitive information with journalists or government authorities.
