Spacestor Recently Launched the Arcadia System
Kalin Ned — June 30, 2022 — Art & Design
The way we do work is constantly evolving and products like Arcadia—a partitioning system that was recently launched by workplace furniture brand Spacestor—are a great example of how firms are relying on design-thinking to enhance the workflow of their office.
Arcadia is essentially "a modular kit-of-parts for dividing up office spaces using soft, organic shapes based on classical architecture." Spacestor worked alongside Gensler, a design and architecture firm, to optimize the design.
A partitioning system in the office is a great way to adapt the space for different uses—from accommodating the ebbs and flows of collaborative work to needing privacy and silence to focus on an individual level. Additionally, the incorporation of soft and organic shapes, alongside strategic color choise, ensures that employees feel calmer in the workspace.
