Japanese collector's item manufacturer Medicom Toy recently collaborated with furniture maker Karimoku to create a minimalist-looking Bearbrick model that undergoes a lengthy production process that ensures its quality.
The bear toy makes use of the same shape that other Bearbrick models do, with a large head and ears, a pudgy torso, and human-like legs and arms. Unlike many of Medicom Toy's other models, this iteration does not feature any paint to create a face on it or any type of clothing. Rather, the model is left totally bare, with only the fine finish of the dark wood left exposed.
As Karimoku's artists create the Bearbricks by hand and pay the utmost attention to detail, only a few of the models can be produced within a month's time, making them highly exclusive.
