There’s something about foreign film posters for American movies that just makes them infinitely cooler than their North American counterparts, which is probably why Justin Orr decided to try his hand in making faux Japanese film promos. Seen here are his re-imaginings of what the ‘Enter the Dragon’ and ‘Pulp Fiction’ posters would look like overseas.
What’s notable about Justin Orr’s versions of the film posters, aside from their Japanese text and vintage finish, are the excellent cartoon graphics he uses. Badass caricatures of Bruce Lee, John Travolta, Samuel L. Jackson and more are expertly rendered in a stylized, yet accurate manner to ultimately elevate these fan tributes into awesome territory. I can’t wait to see which film poster Orr draws next!
