Blend It Yourself is a new initiative launched by the smoothie brand Juice Generation – a company which was co-founded by the actress Salma Hayek.
The Blend It Yourself collection already had 12 smoothie recipes along with three acai bowls that users can make at home, and it is now offering three Beauty Blends that were designed to be either applied to the skin as a face mask, or consumed. The DIY recipes feature a Papaya Avocado which contains pumpkin seeds and manuka honey, a Watermelon Hibiscus which contains figs and rose water, and Aloe Greens – which contains cucumber, mint, spinach and pear.
These Juice Generation DIY recipes were inspired by the natural home recipes Hayek would apply to her face in her youth.
