Forget about solar and wind power -- all you need is a little bit of your own muscle to power Elli Studio's JF-Kit House. Elli Studio has taken off-the-grid living to the next level with its prototype for a kinetically-powered house.
The JF-Kit takes its name from health and wellness guru Jane Fonda, as a reminder that there are many aspects to holistic healthy living. There are several activity stations throughout the prototype house to drive home this concept. Living rooms can typically be fairly static environments, but Elli Studio has created the much more dynamic 'Power Living Room,' fully equipped with "fitness furniture" to encourage activity. Other self-sustaining areas where energy can be generated include the Spinning Kitchen, and Triceps Greenhouse, which includes a small plot for plants. The house is a great concept to keep you buff and the planet healthy.
