The designs have an industrial feel to them with the piece of wood sitting atop the lighting piece. According to Henry Wielgus, the creative duo "successfully attempted to create a light that blends the elegance of crystal with the rustic beauty of wooden forms, pounded together with iron cramps." It's this contrast that makes these lights so intriguing. The glass section is extremely elegant and pure, while the upper wooden section is much more rugged. They are two elements that one wouldn't normally pair together, but Jan Plechac and Henry Wielgus have managed to make it work in this collection titled 'Mould.'
