Jaguar Classic has unveiled the limited-edition 'C-Type Continuation' models, a new convertible that celebrates the 70th anniversary of winning the 1951 Le Mans 24 Hours race. The continuation model is directly based on the same legendary race-winning sports car, borrowing its design and stylings.
In terms of power, 'C-Type Continuation' models come equipped with a 3.4-liter straight-six engine with triple Weber carburetors -- a heavy-duty combination that can produce 220 BHP. Other features on the new vehicle include four-speed manual driving, powerful disc brakes, 16-inch 60-spoke rims, a three-quarter Brooklands race screen, a 15-inch stirring wheel, and more.
The car matches the 1953 model aesthetically, boasting an extra-long bonnet with louvers and scoops for improved airflow, while the interior dons high-quality leather seats. These upgraded, vintage-inspired models will be offered to customers in 12 exterior colors, with eight different leather seat options.
