The Honda HP-X Concept was first showcased at the 1984 Turin Auto Show and is slated to be shown off once again at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance event this year. The vehicle starts off with its quintessential wedge-shaped form that holds a mid-mounted 2.0L DOHC 24-valve V6 engine inside to provide operators with a jet fighter-level of power. The cockpit is covered by the Perspex canopy for access, while the lightweight body is crafted out of a blend of carbon fiber, Kevlar and honeycomb paneling.
The Honda HP-X Concept will compete in the Wedge-Shaped Concept Cars and Prototypes class during the aforementioned event taking place on August 18, 2024. The vehicle was originally designed Pininfarina and is renowned for its effect on the design of many Honda and Acura models that came after it.
