This interior gabion wall has been designed as an overtly natural yet modern take on the accent wall that will work to add physical and visual texture to a living space. The accent wall is the design work of Yerce Architecture in collaboration with ZAAS and is located in the living room of a modern home, just to the side of the home entertainment setup. The wall is inspired by gabion walls that are traditionally seen in outdoor spaces filled with rocks and replaces the geological components with walnuts to add a naturally textural experience that's also the perfect backdrop for photography.
The interior gabion wall helps to utilize a natural material in the design process to rethink what can be used to create accents in a living space.
