Inflight Champagne Dinners

Emirates' Inflight Menu Pairs Decadent Dom Perignon with Gourmet Food

Earlier this month, Emirates announced that the Dom Pérignon Vintage 2005 and the Dom Pérignon Vintage Rosé 2003 will now be a part of its inflight menu on select routes.

This new addition is thanks to a partnership between Emirates and Dom Pérignon's Pascal Tingaud, who applies his knowledges as a two-Michelen star chef as the Chef de Cuisine for the brand.

In addition to serving the exclusive vintages, the champagnes will be served to first class customers as pairings with items like canapés of Cured duck with saffron poached peach, a charcoal-topped cracker topped with ash goat’s cheese and quince jelly, and a sesame-coated tuna fish served with a spicy wasabi mayonnaise. Now that so many food and wine pairings have been trialed, it has become a staple in luxury dining services.
