Polestar is once again innovating and stunning consumers and brands alike with the debut of its new activation—an iced car showroom. The structure is essentially a cube that rises to 12 meters in height. Entirely made out of ice, the Arctic Circle showroom boasts two-meter-thick walls of ice. A few ice sculptures of car parts also enhance the experience.
The impressive cube was constructed in Rovaniemi, Finland by Frozen Innovation, in collaboration with Polestar and the Arctic Design Week. Martin Österberg, Polestar Finland’s Marketing Manager, explains that "the choice of building material was easy due to the location and our desire to use circular materials: of course, it had to be built from snow." Individuals can take a vehicle out of the iced car showroom for a test drive around an Arctic Circle course.
