Delicious and multi-layered, the Ice Moon by Doshi Levien for Haagen-Dazs are scrumptious.
The design duo behind this delicious dessert consists of Nipa Doshi and Jonathan Levien. They were inspired by the Georges Méliès’ 'Le Voyage dans la Lune.' The idea of making an edible moon came from a variety of different fantastical and imaginative inspirations from each of the artists. Each moon is filled with layers of dessert ingredients that make this a gastronomical marvel.
The white moon contains pistachios, macadamia nut and raspberry ice cream. The dark moon is made with chocolate, salted caramel, nuts and vanilla ice cream. The designers explain that each moon is made by molding the sphere in two parts then seamlessly joining each piece. With stunning aesthetics and delicious ingredients, this dessert is certainly irresistible.
