'I Wish This Was' is one of the best civic activist projects I have come across in some time. Created by Candy Chang of the Civic Center, the 'I Wish This Was' stickers let your opinion be heard when it comes to urban development.
The concept behind 'I Wish This Was' is incredibly simple: Simply write what you want a building or site to become on the sticker and affix it to the building. The project started in New Orleans, where people no doubt have a mile-long wish list of new businesses and developments that they would like to see.
The best part of 'I Wish This Was' is that anyone can participate. The stickers can be ordered in packs of up to 100, letting your voice be heard many times over around your neighborhood.
