This Hyundai Car Makes Instant Donations to Stand Up To Cancer

Those who encounter the newest Hyundai car will no longer have to open their chequebooks to make a donation to charity.

The 'Contactless Car' is an Ioniq model that allows donations to Stand Up To Cancer to be made just by tapping a contactless payment card or NFC device against one of the car's five built-in payment points. In response to donations made, the showpiece car responds with audio, visual or electronic cues. The Contactless Car also keeps a tally of the total donations received via a digital display on its license plate.

Later this month, the car will be making its first public debut at London’s King Cross station, as well as appearances at some upcoming spring, summer and fall Stand Up Cancer events.
