Hotel Vernet has recently undergone a transformation that strikes a balance between bold colors and an airy crispness. As though it were the home of an art collector or a gallery space in a museum, Hotel Vernet displays a series of abstract artworks along its walls that has also inspired the choice of furnishings it complements.
Designed by Francois Champsaur, an interior designer hailing from Marseilles, Hotel Vernet maintains its iconic stained glass dome in the main dining room while boasting new copper screens and fixtures, ringed chandeliers by Eric Schmitt, a curved bar in the same Carrara marble used on the floor as well as a fresco by Jean-Michel Alberola on the ceiling. The overall result is a place that is both traditional and modern as well as creative and serene.
