Mike's Hot Honey and Ewing Athletics have unveiled its latest collaborative hot honey-inspired sneakers. The collaboration is rare as it consists of different brands in different industries. Mike's Hot Honey dwells in spicy honey sauce distribution with its special recipe, and Ewing Athletics was founded by retired professional basketball player Patrick Ewing as his signature shoe brand.
The sneakers contain a unique design inspired by the themes of Mike's Hot Honey's recipes. The sneakers are based on the Sport Lite model of Ewing Athletics and arrive in white leather and burgundy suede uppers as an homage to Mike's Hot Honey founder Mike Kurtz's high school and college colors. Patrick Ewing's signature branding is on the lateral side, with co-branding on the tongue and insole. The sneakers also have a keychain attached to the top lace hole with Patrick Ewing's basketball jersey number "33," and the gum sole represents the wildflower honey used in Mike's Hot Honey recipe. Additionally, each pair comes with a bottle of Mike's Hot Honey inside the shoe box. The sneakers will be available on April 14.
