Factual Equality Ads

The #HopeForOurDaughters Ad Addresses Current Facts of Female Inequalities

This educational ad created for the '#HopeForOurDaughters' campaign addresses female inequality facts that sound like they belong in 1915. While female equality has continued to evolve, there is still a battle for female rights.

The ad features girls who are given a card that says '1915' and one that says '2015.' Each girl reads a fact and must decide whether the fact is current, or whether it was based on 1915 statistics. The trick to this ad is that all the facts are from 2015, but none of the girls believed it. Some facts include "62 million girls don't go to school and 75 million girls under age 14 are child laborers."

This #HopeForOurDaughters aims to raise awareness for women and fight for equal rights. Ad agency 'Zambezi' created this to promote the film 'Suffragette,' which focuses of female rights as well as what life was like for women 100 years ago.
