Homethings Invests in Refillable Tech with its Washing Up Liquid

Homethings has unveiled a new powder-to-gel Washing Up Liquid. The washing-up liquid comes in a concentrated powder form packaged in a fully recyclable paper sachet. Consumers can transform this powder into a gel-like liquid by mixing it with tap water at home. This not only reduces the need for bulky, water-filled plastic bottles but also incentivizes consumers to choose sustainable alternatives when shopping in stores.

"This is the kind of innovation that eco-conscious shoppers have been crying out for, and we’re delighted to be giving them better options in the cleaning aisle with great partners like Waitrose who really care about the refill movement," said Tim Keaveney, co-founder of Homethings.

The Washing Up Liquid comes with a fresh rhubarb fragrance and is sold in a starter kit or as a standalone product.
