To celebrate the upcoming release of La Belle & La Bête (Beauty and the Beast) as well as the Christmas season, Galeries Lafayette set up a fantastically festive window display.
The windows depict five scenes from the film, including the halls of the Beast's castle, a stunning rose-covered staircase, Beauty’s bedroom and an interactive digital screen that passersby can touch to move virtual red rose petals to reveal images hidden behind. The scenes are elaborate and beautifully put together, with plenty for people to look at.
On the fourth floor inside of the Galeries Lafayette is a cinema that displays five-minute clips from the movie. In addition to its detail-packed displays and interactive wall, this should provide enough entertainment and excitement to titillate people before the 2014 release of the film.
