Hennessey Performance Upgraded a Camaro to Increase Horsepower

Hennessey Performance converted the Chevrolet Camaro into a power enhanced car that is able to produce 1,200 horsepower. The car is titled the 'Hennessey Resurrection ZL 1LE Camaro' and it will be available to consumers at certain Chevrolet dealers. The car is priced at $200,000, and will be limited to 24 models.

In order to create the car, Hennessey Performance replaced the car's engine with an upgraded LT5 engine from Chevrolet. The upgraded engine is able to produce 1,000 ft-lb of torque. The car was also fitted with either a six-speed manual transmission or a 10-speed automatic gearbox. The retrofitted car is able to accelerate to speeds of 60 mph within 2.3 seconds.
