Heineken Beer Celebrates Its Newest Bottle Design for 2014

After the design intensive scrutiny of Heineken beer's 'Your Future Bottle Challenge' candidates, a winner has finally been chosen. Brazil's young and hip graphic designer Fernando Degrossi's bottle design will be featured as 2014's limited edition packaging to celebrate remixing fresh re-branding with Heineken's iconic logo.

Degrossi's sleek green bottle homage is old-school Heineken with a twist. While the traditional green Heineken logo is still very much a part of Degrossi's design inspiration, Degrossi shifted the bottle's focus to be on Heineken's signature red star logo. Still recognizably Heineken, The 2014 Heineken beer bottle will feature a green background with watermarked Heineken writing underneath a for-fronted bright red star. A clever way to remix and play around with Heineken's iconic branding, Degrossi's bottle composition is a refreshing way to zoom in Heineken's famous packaging while making it new for 2014.
