Saffron Road's newest heat-and-eat meals were inspired by the flavors of Morocco and they promise to help eaters travel around the world via through their sense of taste with microwaveable entrees that are ready in six minutes or less. These four new frozen entrees include Chicken & Potatoes, Coconut Cauliflower Curry, Chickpea Masala and Chicken Enchiladas Al Chipotle, each of which explores the vibrant flavors of North Africa. While all of these options are gluten-free, two are vegan.
Chef John Umlauf, Senior VP of Culinary Operations, says, "Our meals are prepared just like a restaurant with no shortcuts: we caramelize and deglaze the mirepoix and tomato paste, pan-roast the vegetables, and slow-simmer the sauces, all using authentic, wholesome ingredients native to the regions of each recipe."
