Celebrity Potato Heads

These Famous Faces are Transformed in Hasbro's Mr. Potato Head

Celebrity-inspired caricatures have been created to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Hasbro's Mr. Potato head.

The iconic children's toy receives a number of updates that transform the memorable figure into famous faces that were born in the same year. Hasbro explains that, "Our inspiration comes from 60-year-old personalities that represent a moment in time and still keep making history through different kinds of media."

The collection of personified potato drawings include MAD magazines Alfred E. Newman, Mr. T (renamed 'Mr. P') and Ramones guitarist Dee Dee, among others. The designs have not been manufactured into actual toys but the iconically created drawings are a perfect tribute to the individual who inspired the design as well as the classic potato-like toy.
