Hanging Room Dividers

BAK Architects Creates a Double Duty Piece of Concrete Furniture

Utilizing the interior space of homes is becoming even more experimental as this hanging room divider shows. The fact that it drops from the ceiling doesn't make it entirely unique. Instead, its the fact that its made entirely out of concrete.

Mimicking the design of the ceiling, the hanging room divider also plays double duty to ensure that it is useful in more ways than one. In addition to separating the bedroom from the office in a simple and open way, it also acts as the desk itself. Designed by BAK Architects for a home based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, one side of the hanging room divider is the 'office' while the other side is an entertainment console for the bedroom.
