Tesco recently turned its supermarket into a "spookermarket" with a Halloween grocery stunt. Innocent shoppers entered a Tesco location on a seemingly normal day to take care of some weekly shopping. The video capturing the event begins with a few weird things happening, like a car slowly moving on its own, or things falling off shelves.
As the video goes on, shoppers were greeted by scary butchers, clowns and floating heads. To capitalize on Halloween, Tesco decided to run a hilarious campaign that incorporated many of its shoppers. Other parts of the Halloween grocery stunt include a pumpkin display and and bloody hands at the fish counter.
The immensely popular YouTube spot has already racked up over a million views and the video is accompanied by five supplementary videos that show viewers how to stage their own spooky stunts.
