Straw Netting Jungle Gyms

The Gyeonggi Children’s Museum is Made from Straws

The jungle gym section in Gyeonggi Children’s Museum has a netted area surrounding it, which is made completely out of bendable straws. Kids can climb in from the top section of the design, and work their way down.

While bendable straws and security don't seem to work well in the same sentence, the netting is surprisingly strong. Kids are able to climb down the large platforms within the net area, which are attached to a pole in the central area of the jungle gym. The objects that the children climb down almost look like colorful, oversized hockey pads.

Although the gym inside the Gyeonggi Children’s Museum looks haphazard, it's very safe and children seem to love climbing through the structure.
