Grizzly Bear has released a new music video for their song 'Yet Again' last week that is as captivating as the band's entire most recent album.
The video was directed by Emily Kai Bock who also directed Grimes’ 'Oblivion Fame.' Featured in the video is a young female figure skater who takes a fall on the ice during a trick and, just as she is about to hit the ice, she falls into a lake and enters into an alternate world. Just then she has to wander the streets and forests to find her way home in her skates.
The video ends with an eerie slow motion shot of her screaming and flailing in her bedroom as various objects fly around the room. The scene is very emotional, but difficult to look away from.
