Philadelphia-based food delivery company Gopuff has announced that it will be launching its signature grocery delivery service in France, marking the brand's first expansion into Europe.
The company will now offer its service to those living in Paris, Marseille, Lillie, and Toulouse, and plans to expand further to other European nations in the near future, starting with Spain. As is the case with its operation in American markets, Gopuff has set up 20 dark stores, which will house approximately 4,000 different products ranging from groceries and alcohol to consumer electronics and household essentials.
"The reason why we’ve expanded to Europe is because the customers have demanded it," said Gopuff’s co-founder and co-CEO, Yakir Gola, in a recent interview. "We only come into a market once we’re really ready to win."
