The Goodforks Series Uses Fruit as the Basis of Crisp 3D Patterns

Food and fun go hand in hand and one can imagine the enjoyment that came from the creation of the Goodforks series. This collection of pictures was playfully executed by Marion Luttenberger and her friend Briony with a range of different edibles that have been arranged in unusual ways.

While the organic features of the fruits and vegetables are visible in these scrumptious sculptural displays, the pair of designers worked to manipulate with every slice and position to work the watermelons, bananas, eggplants, beans, cucumbers and grapes into artificial rather than natural states. In the Goodforks series of edible art, spherical foods turn into pyramids and citrus fruits feature halos. Photo editing separates cuts into unexpected spacings to make the colorful compositions defy gravity as well as one's expectations.
