Two separate, yet intimately involved components make up the Globe Lights series that was recently created by London designers Helena and Veronica from Studio Vit.
A dangling orb mounted from the ceiling casts a small and concentrated ray of light out of its side while a large ceramic dish can be tilted to perfectly reflect and bounce that light into the rest of the room. The way these two objects interact is up to you as the disc can be mounted on a wall, angled in a corner or laid flat on the ground while the dangling spheres can be clustered at different lengths or left to hang individually.
The designers explain that the Globe Lights collection "explores how geometric volumes relate to each other."
